a fun book that teaches Yes and No in a positive manner

This is the only book in my son's collection that he allows me to read each word on every page. The pages are illustrated with bright colors and cleverly drawn characters, the text rhymes and it offers a quasi-question and answer format. I read the questions, "Mommy may I..." and my son gleefully answers, "No! No! No!" or "Yes! Yes! Yes!" when it's time to answer. The questions presented in the book center around events that happen in or around your home (playing with the fish, helping bake, crossing the street alone, playing outside, etc.) and Mommy's answers clearly explain why the child may or may not do as requested. This is a delightful book with a subtle attempt to keep your child safe.

Love this rhyming book! I can recite it from memory now and my preschool class is hypnotized whenever I recite it! They love saying "no no no" or "yes yes yes" in response!

once you read this to your toddler, they will be saying "yes! yes! yes!" and "no! no! no!" and you will be so glad for a wonderful christian book. easy read and such a great message :)
